Dear Friends,
This Monday we celebrate the hard-working individuals that have helped shape our great country. The Labor Day holiday was first observed nationally in 1894. Each year since, we take this time to reflect on the history of the workers movement across America, and within our own lives. For those of us who are employed, we should be thankful for our blessings and keep in mind all those who are unemployed, underemployed, and searching for new opportunities. I am thankful to be your State Representative and am fortune to have a helping hand in ensuring that Florida continues to grow jobs, and bring high wage paying jobs to our state and local area.

As we celebrate throughout the weekend with BBQ's, shopping, and enjoying the company of friends and family, let's remember our historical workforce journey, including the many skills and various types of labor working all around us today, and everyday.

In Your Service,
  Rep. Sig 3
Larry Ahern
